Erum Khalid - "Off the right path"

​While driving across the country last year, in the middle of nowhere, we stumbled upon an area that seemed to have been occupied by either a small community or a big family. Exploring the belongings left behind, one could observe the abandonment. Deserted, occupied, casted off. Who lived here? For how long? Why did they leave and when?
We were just passing by, and I still contemplate my moments in time when I wish to flee.
